Sample Online Courses

A short intro for each course

  • The Nail Art Online Course and Crash Course for ECommerce were created in fulfillment of my eLearning certificate. The first course was created in 2012 and was my very first online course, hosted on Wix. The second course was the Capstone Project for my Elearning Development Certificate, which I crafted with Adobe Muse in 2015. For both online courses, I created almost everything from scratch: teaching content, course syllabus, grading rubrics (whenever applied), and also course evaluation (summative), quizzes, and graphic design. The instructional design model I used was ADDIE model. Course navigation improved a lot from the first course to the second one, so as the visual design (layout, graphics, etc.).

  • The second course, Data Visualization Moodle course was created in 2015, as part of my preliminary exam for my doctoral degree in Ag Education. I also created a course syllabus (pdf) which can be downloaded in the "Instructional Material" section. This 12-week course contains quizzes, assignments, and group discussions, as well as a final project.

  • The BGCC Staff Training Course is a project in progress since the end of 2015 for a Children's Center in College station, TX. Training content was developed from existing documents. The course was created with Adobe Captivate 9.0. And for this project, I added interactivity and gamification to the training course with an expectation to enhance learners' understanding of the content (Please click on the pictures and a new page will open).

  • The Campus Sustainability Online Course was created with WordPress (required course assignment).

  • The Crash Course for ECommerce owners was created with Adobe Muse.
